2022/23 MOT Annual Training Update – November 2022
Now we’ve passed the MOT Annual Training halfway point, testers should have a plan in place to complete their training and assessment well in advance of the deadline. Don’t risk suspension from testing – find out how the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills can support your staff so they can confidently complete their requirements with plenty of time to spare.
Six MOT annual training packages are available to ensure that all testers can comply with DVSA’s compulsory training by this year’s deadline on 31st March 2023. These range from face-to-face training at your garage premises or an RMI Academy venue, to remote learning either online or in a physical workbook.
This year’s assessment pass mark remains at 80%, but due to the wide scope of the assessment syllabus we advise testers to ensure they complete their training and assessment in good time to accommodate potential re-takes.
The 2022/23 topics for group B (cars) are:
- Managing your MTS Account and MOT Annual Training
- Brake Test Procedures
- MOT Test Procedures
- The MOT Inspection Manual for cars and passenger vehicles
The 2022/23 topics for group A (motorcycles) are:
