MOT Update – Are you logging into the MOT testing service with Internet Explorer?
The DVSA has issued the following information on logging into the MOT testing service with Internet Explorer.
They said via email: “A while ago we informed MTS users they may be unable to record a vehicle’s mileage during a test result entry when using Internet Explorer.
This issue has been fixed, but MTS users should be aware that Microsoft stopped all support of Internet Explorer on 15 June 2022.
From now the use of Internet Explorer to access MTS will not be supported. Very small numbers of MTS users are currently using this browser.
What to do next:
To avoid any possible issues with Internet Explorer and MTS in the future, we suggest you start using another browser.
You could try using Chrome, Edge, Safari or Firefox, for example. This will mean you can continue to use MTS on a browser which is supported by us.”
