IGA Insider Live – Runcorn

The Independent Garage Association will be hosting its next Insider Live event on Wednesday 21^st October 2026 from 10am to 4pm at the RMI Academy of Automotive Skills in Runcorn.

The event is FREE to attend and is designed specifically for Independent Garage owners. You’ll get the chance to:

• Understand more about the membership benefits available through the IGA
• Learn about the opportunities that exist within the growing Hybrid and Electric Vehicle repair market – and the specialist technical support that is available for Independent Garages
• See live demonstrations from industry leading manufacturers including HELLA, Schaeffler and VARTA
• Hear the latest updates from the DVSA and take part in a Q&A
• Lunch will also be provided for all attendees

The previous Insider Live event in Coventry was the first time the IGA have included live demonstrations from leading industry manufacturers and feedback from everyone who attended was overwhelmingly positive.

As such, we’re now taking the Insider Live event on the road to the RMI Academy in Runcorn to give both members and non-members an additional chance to benefit from valuable industry insights including clutch and battery demonstrations performed by HELLA and VARTA.
