Final IGA Member Events of 2022 and Mechanex Sandown Park
The IGA’s final two Member Events of the year are taking place this month, with Bury St Edmunds on 8th November and Havant on 22nd November. Read on to find out how attending can help your garage business and book your place, plus get your free tickets to join the IGA at Mechanex Sandown Park on 8th – 9th November.
November IGA Member Events
Our member events give garages the opportunity to learn about up-to-the-minute essential industry news, discover how to avoid the latest scams and keep on top of legislation changes, as well as find out how the IGA can support their garage businesses.
Topics explored at these upcoming events include Motor Vehicle Block Exemption, access to technical information, garage work provision and much, much more.
The DVSA will also be there to share the latest MOT training news and discuss recent changes to the MOT system, connected equipment and future developments being considered within the MOT scheme, along with answering attendees’ questions.
Comprehensive information packs will be available to all attendees, plus Trust My Garage members attending the event can also claim their complimentary TMG promotional pack and signage.

Doors open at 09:30am, presentation starts promptly at 10:00am. Tea and coffee will be provided.
Social distancing and full hygiene measures will be in place, and you may wear a face covering if you wish.
All our member events are free to attend; however, you will need to book tickets in advance. Non-members of the IGA are also welcome to attend these events.
Mechanex Sandown Park – 8th & 9th November 2022
Join the IGA at Mechanex Sandown Park this month. Mechanex is the UK’s only regional tradeshow dedicated to garage businesses, featuring industry leading brands, a full seminar programme, live tool and equipment demonstrations, on-stand presentations from leading market brands and exclusive show offers.
The IGA will be exhibiting on stand D80, so come along and talk to the team about how we can help your garage business, or ask your industry questions.
Our Head of MOT Technical Operations, Steve Coles, will also be updating the Mechanex audience on the latest changes and developments in MOTs at 10:30am on both days of the show, while our Head of Member Services, Frank Harvey, will be participating in panel discussions on EVs and the industry’s skills shortage at 3:00pm each day.
